Wattana, a gorilla in the Paris Zoo, taught herself how to macramé. She makes choices— red rope not purple; she likes to make specific knots; all choices we humans make daily. We make aesthetic choices when picking out colors of our clothes, or as children which crayons we want to color with— or songs we like on the radio. We are all animals. This video is a visual song based on our aesthetic interactions on a primate level.
